Gené excluded – Tarquini new winner

Jordi Gené has been excluded from his race one victory at Zolder. This means that Gabriele Tarquini inherits the win. Chevrolet drivers Yvan Muller and Alain Menu moves up to second and third.

The Spaniard was excluded as the air restrictor on his diesel turbo engine did not conform with the technical regulations.

The change means that Tarquini moves up to second in the championship, 19 points behind Muller.
