Vaulkhard moved down and new engine for Coronel

Privateer Chevrolet driver Harry Vaulkhard had his best qualifying lap disallowed and he is demoted from 13th to 17th on the grid. This was done as the Brit was reported to have had all four wheels off track at turn 16 during his fastest lap.

Coronel had engine problems during the qualifying session and has changed the diesel unit ahead of the first race.

“It’s better for it to happen before the race as there is still time to make up points. I’m not worried. I am aiming for the top eight in Race 1,” said Coronel.

Coronel is going to start from 15th spot on the grid.
