Coronel loses fourth place finish

Tom Coronel has lost his fourth place result, best of the SEAT’s in race one, due to a false start.

Tom Coronel was judged to have overtaken before the green flag at the start, and thus has been served with a retrospective drive through penalty, which puts him back to 17th in the final order.

Andrei Romanov also felt the wrath of the stewards for causing an accident in race two, and also receives a 30 second penalty, which takes away his third place finish in the independents’ category, as well as a 10 place grid drop suspended for the next two races in Spain and Japan.
