Michelisz leads Valencia warm-up

Norbert Michelisz put in a stunning lap in the warm-up, even faster than Tarquini’s pole time to lead in the session.

Michelisz, who qualified 13th for the race, was fastest ahead of pole sitter Gabriele Tarquini, and the BMW of Augusto Farfus.

Michelisz was also the top Rookie Challenge driver in the session, whilst the fastest independent was Kristian Poulsen in tenth.

Title rivals Andy Priaulx was eighth, with Yvan Muller ninth.
