Spataro wins heat one at Neuquén

Emiliano Spataro won the first of the morning’s two sprint heats at Neuquén from Norberto Fontana and Juan Cruz Alvarez.

Spataro won the non-championship scoring round by almost four seconds from the Ford driver.

Championship leader Leonel Pernía was fifth in the Equipo Petrobras Civic.

Only half the grid takes part in the first heat, with the other half competing in the morning’s second heat straight after.
