Stefan Johansson to race at Buenos Aires

Swedish former Formula 1 driver, Stefan Johansson will drive with Leondro Carducci at Scuderia Fiat for the Buenos Aires 200km race in November.

Johansson is the fourth international star, after Chevrolet WTCC drivers Alain Menu & Yvan Muller, as well as reigning WTCC champion Gabriele Tarquini to be confirmed for the famous endurance event held in Buenos Aires.

Johansson, who most recently has had occassional drives in the American Le Mans Series and the now defunct Speedcar series, will drive a Fiat Linea along with regular driver Leandro Carducci in the 3M Argentinean TC2000 Championship race.

Johansson completes the full line-up of endurance competitors for the race for Fiat, as local competitors will drive in the other four Linea’s for the team.

Emiliano Spataro will be joined by Ezequiel Baldinelli, Emanuel Moriatis by Diego Aventín, Ezequiel Bosio by Marcelo Bugliotti and Ignacio Char will be joined by Juan Manuel López.
