Chevrolet dominates Okayama test session

Chevrolet dominated the first test session of the Japanese FIA World Touring Car Championship weekend at Okayama. Rob Huff was fastest driver of the session, six tenths ahead of team mate and championship leader Yvan Muller.

Andy Prialx managed to squeeze in between the three Chevrolets, posting the third fastest time ahead of Alain Menu.

Augusto Farfus Jr. made it two BMW’s in the top five, right ahead of best SEAT-driver Tiago Monteiro. Tom Coronel was just 0.072 seconds behind Monteiro.

Hong Kong-driver Darryl O’Young was best privateer in the older Chevrolet Lacetti, right ahead of Volvo-driver Robert Dahlgren.

Michel Nykjaer rounded off top ten, with returnee Colin Turkington in eleventh.
