Coronel fastest in free practice 2

Tom Coronel, at the site of his first WTCC victory two years ago, topped the time sheets in the second free practice session ahead of Rob Huff and team-mate Tiago Monteiro.

Coronel in the SEAT León TDI was just 36 thousandths of a second ahead of the Chevrolet Cruze of Huff, with the top fifteen cars all covered by a second.

Robert Dahlgren was quick again, repeating his form from the first session. The Swede’s Volvo C30 setting the fifth best time in the session.

The title rivals were in the middle of the pack, with Yvan Muller 9th, Gabriele Tarquini 11th and Andy Priaulx 12th.

Colin Turkington was in the top ten for the second session running, whilst Franz Engstler was the top independent runner in seventh.
