Taniguchi confirmed for Bamboo Engineering at Macau

Yukinori Taniguchi is going to be back with Bamboo Engineering for the FIA World Touring Car Championship finale at Macau.
“I am very pleased for being given this opportunity and I will do my best to help my team-mate Darryl O’Young to clinch the Independents’ Trophy title,” said Taniguchi.

The Japanese driver has taken part in three previous races this year, Oschersleben, Valencia and most recently Okayama. Taniguchi became the first Japanese driver to win an independents race at his home race in Okayama.

Taniguchi has never before taken part in the race at Macau in a front wheel driven car.
