Chevrolet 1-2 in Macau final free practice

Robert Huff and Chevrolet continues to set the pace at Macau. Huff was once again fastest, just as in the previous two sessions, this time with half a second down to his team mate Yvan Muller.

Best non-Chevrolet driver was Tiago Monteiro ahead of fellow SEAT-driver Tom Coronel in third and fourth respectively.

Andy Priaulx was best BMW-driver in fifth, 0.917 seconds behind Huff’s fastest lap.

Alain Menu headed leading independent Darryl O’Young in the older Chevrolet Lacetti, both driver over one second behind Huff.

The session was ended under yellow flags as Swiss racer Fredy Barth hit the barriers at Paiol. Barth was unable to further take part in the session. Mehdi Bennani was another victim of the Macau barriers as he struck the barriers at the exit of the R-bend, damaging his BMW.
