SEAT Sport changes focus for 2011
SEAT Sport has announced to change focus on activities for the 2011 season. The SEAT Léon Supercopa and the SEAT Léon Eurocup will be closed down and SEAT Sport will instead focus on supplying technical support and parts to the already existing SEAT Léon Supercopa and S2000 cars around Europe.
“We will maintain a high profile at national and international motorsports events, closely collaborating with all SEAT customers who participate at different championships, from track racing to endurance, and with SEAT importers who organize Supercopa races in Germany and France,” said SEAT Sport boss Jaime Puig.
SEAT Sport will continue to support the S2000 SEAT’s in the WTCC, BTCC and STCC during 2011.
“In addition, we are widening our range of activities. We will continue to design accessories, which from now on will be assembled and installed directly in the SEAT Sport facilities, guaranteeing our customers the highest levels of quality. 2011 is definitely going to be a busy year for SEAT Sport,” said Puig.
