Eight test sessions set for WTCC 2011

Eight test sessions have been confirmed for the FIA World Touring Car Championship 2011. The sessions run over 30 minutes on the friday of the race weekends and allow the teams to shake the cars down and get a first run on the track ahead of the official sessions.

The sessions will be held at Curitiba (also including one additional 90 minute session), Zolder, Marrakech, Porto, Donington Park, Suzuka and Guangdong. Macau will also have a session, but on thursday as the free practice and qualifying is held on friday.

An official test day will be held at Monza on May the 12th.
