Renault begin testing new Fluence
The Renault LoJack team have begun testing their new Fluence TC2000 car, which will compete in the 2011 season with an all new driver line-up.
Former Formula 1 chief designer Sergio Rinland is a technical advisor on the project, helping to develop the new Fluence which replaces the team’s Mégane Mk.II this season.
Renault LoJack’s new drivers Mauro Giallombardo & Guillermo Ortelli got their hands on the new car at the circuit Oscar y Juan Gálvez in Buenos Aires, with former Chevrolet driver Ortelli setting a best lap of 1:22.49 at the test.
The car will join the championship’s first general test next Wednesday at the Autodromo Oscar Cabalén.
