Silva takes win in second qualifying race

Juan Manuel Silva has won the second qualifying race in his first event with the Ford-YPF team. Renault’s Guillermo Ortelli was second and Silva’s Ford team-mate Fabian Yannantuoni third.

Toyota Team Argentina’s new signing Matías Rossi finished fourth with team-mate Mariano Werner fifth. José María López rounded out of the top six with his Fiat Linea.

The two qualifying race results will be merged to form the grid for this afternoon’s 31 lap feature race, which gets underway at 13:00 local time at General Roca in Argentina.
