Yvan Muller on top again in Free Practice 2

Yvan Muller lead the Chevrolet trifecta in the second practice session at Brno, this time with championship leader Rob Huff in second place.

Muller’s best lap of 2:10.202 was just under two-tenths of a second quicker than his championship rival, with Alain Menu further back in the third of the RML-run Chevrolet Cruzes.

Robert Dahlgren found more pace as the Swedish driver continued to learn the Czech circuit, with the Volvo C30 just over eight-tenths of a second back in fourth place.

Tom Coronel was quickest of the BMW drivers. His ROAL Motorsport BMW 320 TC was a further half a second down on Dahlgren.

Gabriele Tarquini was the fastest of the SUNRED drivers in sixth, whilst Norbert Michelisz was the top classified independent driver in seventh.

Tiago Monteiro was suffering with a misfire throughout the session and was unable to set a competitive lap time on his first race appearance with the new 1.6 litre turbo engine.

Qualifying takes place at 14:00 CET.
