Volvo aiming for top five in Germany
Volvo Polestar Racing and Robert Dahlgren heads to the eighth FIA World Touring Car Championship weekend with the aim set for top five.
“We have got a rather high, but achievable goal. There is no reason to change our goal, especially after the last race in England,” said Dahlgren to TouringCarTimes.
Dahlgren secured his and Volvo Polestar Racing’s best ever WTCC weekend at Donington Park two weeks ago with eighth in the first race and sixth in the second race, both races starting from the back of the grid.
“The car worked great from the first test session to the last race and we have made further changes ahead of this weekend that has improved the car yet another step,” said Dahlgren.
Oschersleben is another new track for Volvo Polestar Racing and Dahlgren who never before has visited the track.
“It is always hard to tell whether the track suits us or not as we have never before been there. But we have a strong concept for the weekend and a good position to score further points,” said Christian Dahl, Managing Director of Volvo Polestar Racing.
