Same weight for Chevrolet and BMW in WTCC finale

The Chevrolet Cruze 1.6 T and the BMW 320 TC will be on equal penalty weight for the WTCC season finale at Macau next weekend. Both models will carry 40 kilos extra on their base weights, 1150 for Chevrolet and 1170 for BMW, as their average lap times from the past three races are within 0.3 seconds of each other.

While Chevrolet remains on the same weight as in the previous race at Shanghai, BMW gains 20 kilos, the SUNRED León remains the same and the Volvo C30 loses 20 kilos.

The naturally aspirated BMW 320si is the sole model with reduced weight for Macau, minus 20 kilos.
