LADA plan to enter two WTCC rounds in 2012

TMS, the team which ran the works LADA team in the 2009 World Touring Car Championship plan to enter the Hungarian and Portuguese rounds of next year’s WTCC.

The team are planning two evaulation efforts with a Super 2000 version of their LADA Granta Sport. The team, run by former WTCC driver Viktor Shapovalov organise the Lada Granta Cup in Russia and also fielded cars in the WTCC support event, the European Production Series under their old moniker of Russian Bears Motorsport.

They will enter the Hungarian round in Budapest on May 6th, and then will make a second appearance at Estoril on June 3rd, with drivers and further specifications of the car to be confirmed.
