James Nash given 10 place grid drop
Arena Motorsport driver James Nash has lost his fourth spot on the grid for the first race tomorrow after failing post-qualifying scrutineering.
Nash had qualified on the second row behind pole sitter Norbert Michelisz and the two Lukoil Racing Team SEATs of Aleksei Dudukalo and Gabriele Tarquini after setting a time of 2:13.317 in the Ford Focus S2000 TC, but in scrutineering the ride height of the car failed inspection and so has been given a ten place drop.
This promotes Tiago Monteiro’s SR León 1.6T to fourth and reigning champion Yvan Muller to fifth for the first race.
