Yokohama extends WTCC deal for another three years

Yokohama will continue be the control tyre supplier for the FIA World Touring Car Championship from 2013-2015.

The Japanese tyre company took over as the WTCC’s provided from Michelin in the second year of the championship, and has provided its ADVAN branded tyre to the championship ever since.

“Yokohama has been the official tyre supplier to the WTCC since 2006, and the performance its ADVAN racing tires has been highly evaluated by FIA,” they said in a statement.
