Rubens Barrichello joins Brazilian Stock Car final

Former F1 driver Rubens Barrichello is going to take part in the season final of the Brazilian Stock Car at Interlagos on the 9th of December.
“I think I have watched every Stock Car race for a long time and knew that one day I would be there,” said Barrichello.

The Brazilian, currently racing in IndyCar, is going to race for Full Time Sports in a Peugeot 408, a team that will donate 90 000 € to the charity organisation Instituto Barrichello Kanaan.

“There is a strong reason to be part of it, as the company that backs Full Time Sports will give R$ 230.000 (90 000 €) for Instituto Barrichello Kanaan, a NGO that helps public schools and social organisations with technical support, promoting citizenship through the sport,” said Barrichello.

Barrichello, who is going to race with team mate Xandinho Negrao, is going to get his first test with the Peugeot 408 at Curitiba on the 15th of October.
