Extra Chevrolet for Eric Kwong Hoi Fung at Shanghai

2012 Hong Kong Touring Car S2000-class champion Eric Kwong Hoi Fung will line-up on the grid at the Shanghai International Circuit in a normally aspirated Chevrolet Cruze LT run by Look Fong Racing Team.

Kwong is this year’s HTCC champion and has previous experience in GT racing, though this will be his first time racing in the WTCC.

30-year-old Kwong’s Cruze will be the second normally aspirated car on the grid, which are permitted on a race-by-race basis in the 2012 WTCC, and it’ll be the first time a normally aspirated Cruze has been in the WTCC since 2010, when Yvan Muller won the first drivers’ title for the US manufacturer.
