Liu Lic Ka to drive for Engstler at Shanghai

Liu Lic Ka will driver for Liqui Moly Team Engstler at the upcoming round of the FIA World Touring Car Championship at Shanghai in a normally aspirated BMW 320si.

The Macanese driver will take over the BMW driven by Masaki Kano last weekend and is earmarked for Jo Merszei at the Guia Race of Macau finale next month. Liu is the first of a few drivers expected to be added to the grid for Shanghai, with Fredy Barth also making his WTCC return with SEAT Swiss Racing at the Shanghai International Circuit.

Liu’s previous experience in the WTCC was at Macau in 2009, finishing two laps down in the first race but failing to start the second.a
