Cozzolino replaces Cerqui at ROAL for Macau
Kei Cozzolino is going to replace Alberto Cerqui for the final FIA World Touring Car Championship race weekend of the year at Macau at ROAL Motorsport.
Cozzolino was born and lives in Japan, but is an Italian citizen. He last raced in Formula Nippon in 2010, finishing 10th, and came fourth in the 2009 Japanese Formula 3 championship.
The 25-year-old has raced at Macau before in Formula 3, but never in touring cars.
Cerqui’s best result this year was fourth in Slovakia and the Italian is currently 13th in the overall championship and seventh in the Yokohama Trophy.
