First test in Spain for Münnich Motorsport

Münnich Motorsport completed their first test with the SEAT León at Circuito de Navarra in Spain yesterday.
“I was very cautious in the first laps, because I wanted to get used on how to work with the throttle. But as far as the test went on, I felt more and more comfortable. The car is edgy, but reacts very well to set up changes. I can’t wait to see how it behaves in the dry,” said driver Marc Basseng.

The two days of testing were held in pouring rain, but Team Manager and driver René Münnich was nonetheless pleased.
“It was interesting, as the intensity of the rain changed during the day and this gave us the opportunity to try different set up solutions for the wet. However, it was tough to handle the power and grip. I believe that after these two days, we are very well prepared for wet races,” said Münnich.

The team, which is going to run three SEATs in the 2013 WTCC, is heading to Portimão for a further two days of testing.
