Honda Racing Team JAS complete three day test

The new works Honda WTCC team, Honda Racing Team JAS, completed a three day test at the Motorland Aragon circuit in Spain on Wednesday.

With Gabriele Tarquini completing 80 laps and team-mate Tiago Monteiro 59 on the final day, both drivers were able to get a lot of track time in the new Honda Civic Super 2000 TC.

2009 WTCC champion Gabriele Tarquini’s test was focussed on race and qualifying set-up as well as the working on the differential and suspension geometry, whilst Monteiro was testing new engine and steering maps in the car.

“It was a great job from all the team, we completed more than 2,200km without any problems,” said Team Principal Alessandro Mariani. “Gabriele and Tiago are now ready for a 24 hour race!”, he added.
