Jean-Phillippe Dayraut joins Monza grid

Experienced French driver and four-time Trophée Andros champion Jean-Philippe Dayraut will join the WTCC grid at Monza for new team ANOME, with the team targeting a full season.The French team has bought a BMW 320 TC from Zengo Motorsport, and if things go well at Monza, the team hopes to compete in the full 2013 WTCC season.

“We are really committed to put together this programme, and we hope to achieve a good result at Monza in order to secure our participation in the full season,” said Team Principal Nicolas Boillot.

“We are aware that this is a great challenge and there is a lot to do, but we have strong motivations because this programme would mark a significant step forward for our team. To be part of a top-level International series like WTCC was something we had dreamed for long time, and now we see that the dream may actually come true.”
