Torrential rain cancels WTCC test

Torrential rain has canceled the first test session at Circuit Moulay el Hassan ahead of the FIA World Touring Car Championship weekend in Morrocco.

Heavy rain flooded the track, forcing the teams to remain in the pit garages instead of hitting the track for the planned 30 minute test session from 14.00 to 14.30 local time today.

A revised time schedule will be released shortly, but this test will not be rescheduled and the first session for the WTCC teams will instead be the first practice session tomorrow.

The weather forecasts for tomorrow and Sunday indicates temperatures just below 20 degrees and sunshine.
