Gabriele Tarquini to spend the night in hospital

Castrol Honda World Touring Car Team’s Gabriele Tarquini will spend the night in hospital on doctor’s advice after crashing out today at the Hungaroring.

The 51-year-old was set to be discharged from hospital, but instead will spend the night suffering with pain in his neck after a crash at Turn 3, hitting first the tyre barrier and then being hit by Franz Engstler’s BMW at the start of the second race.
