Penalties for Monje and Boardman for false start

Campos Racing’s Fernando Monje and Special Tuning Racing’s Tom Boardman were both given 30 second penalties for overspeeding during the rolling start for race one, which drops the two SEAT drivers to 21st and 23rd in the results.

The two drivers were judged to have exceeded the 90km/h speed limit during the rolling start for race one, which has earned both drivers a 30 second penalty and dropped them down the results table.

Boardman had started 20th on the grid and Monje 24th, with Boardman having progressed through the field to finish 12th and Monje 16th before the application of the penalty.
