Honda shakedown their new Civic for the 2014 WTCC

Honda Racing Team JAS have shaken down their brand new Honda Civic in Italy, and will conduct their first official test with the new Super 2000 2014 car, built to race in the TC1 class, next week at Ciudad del Motor de Aragón.

Gabriele Tarquini, who will again be paired with Tiago Monteiro for the 2014 season, was behind the wheel at the shakedown and reported no problems with the car on its first run.

The Honda is the second car built to compete in the TC1 class. Rival manufacturer Citroën, who are entering the Championship for the first time, have been testing their C-Elysée since July last year.
