First test for new TC1 Honda Civic

JAS Motorsport has completed their first test with the new TC1 specification Honda Civic with Gabriele Tarquini behind the wheel.

”The car is really fun to drive. Very fast in cornering, with a lot of grip thanks to the bigger tyres and the downforce. It is also sensitive to all the set up changes. Is a very challenging car to drive,” said Tarquini.

The team tested at Motorland Aragón in Spain from Tuesday to Friday, with weather remaining dry for all days but Wednesday.

Honda drivers Tiago Monteiro and Norbert Michelisz were also present during the test, with Monteiro getting one hour of test time.

The next test scheduled for the team will take place in the second week of February.
