Successful Valencia test for Campos Racing

Campos Racing have had a successful test session at Valencia ahead of their 2014 FIA World Touring Car Championship campaign. The team were testing their new Chevrolet RML Cruze TC1 for Hugo Valente, and their SEAT León WTCC for John Filippi.

The Spanish team will field five cars in this year’s WTCC, two in the TC1 class for Hugo Valente and Dušan Borković, and three SEATs in the TC2 class, with just 19-year-old Corsican John Filippi announced so far.

“I am happy because we were able to complete our first laps with the new Chevrolet in Cheste, and Hugo experienced a rapid adaptation,” said team principal Joan Orus. “I hope Dušan will receive his car before long. Filippi has completed a good test and I really hope our test programme will facilitate his adaptation to touring cars.”
