Franco Vivian takes Córdoba pole position

Franco Vivian has taken pole position for the Super TC 2000 race weekend at Córdoba in Argentina. The Equipo YPF Chevrolet driver was alone in getting below the 1:30 mark with 1:30.891 and clinched pole one tenth ahead of Peugeot driver Nestor Girolami in second position.

Emiliano Spataro made it three different manufacturers in the top three, setting a time which was 0.334 seconds from pole position in his Renault Lo Jack Team prepared Renault Fluence.

Leonel Pernia, Renault, claimed fourth position ahead of Norberto Fontana, Chevrolet, both being just over half a second behind Vivian’s best time.

Agustin Canapino headed four Peugeots in sixth position with Julian Santero in seventh position, Facundo Chapur in eighth and Damian Fineschi in ninth position.

Renault Lo Jack Team driver Guillermo Ortelli was the last man in the Q3 session, but made a mistake on his lap, failing to set a competitive time.
