Franco Vivian takes maiden Super TC 2000 victory at Rosario
Franco Vivian claimed his first ever Super TC 2000 victory at Rosario today. The Equipo YPF Chevrolet won the 39-lap race with a solid six second gap over Toyota Team Argentina driver Matias Rossi.
Agustin Canapino crossed the line in third position, just half a second ahead of Leonel Pernia, making it four different manufacturers in the top four: Chevrolet, Toyota, Peugeot and Renault.
Nestor Girolami headed three Peugeot drivers in positions five to seven with Julián Santero in sixth and Facundo Chapur in seventh.
Championship leader Norberto Fontana finished eighth, over 20 seconds behind the leaders, for Equipo YPF Chevrolet but still holds a points lead of 6 points over Girolami after the four first race weekends of 2014.
Super TC 2000 continues on June 15 at La Pampa.
