Five Renaults on the grid with Sportteam’s return

The 2015 Argentinian Super TC 2000 Championship will see the number of Renault Fluences on the track increase with three cars run by the factory Renault Lo Jack Team, and two by Sportteam, who return to the championship after three years away.

The Renault Lo Jack Team has confirmed that Leonel Pernía and Emiliano Spataro will remain with the team next season, and will be joined by Agustín Calamari, who moved across from Toyota Team Argentina.

Sportteam will run Christian Ledesma, who leaves the Equipo Petronas Fiat team, and Facundo Della Motta in their two V8-powered Fluences next year.

Of Renault’s departing drivers, Fabian Yannantuoni has already been signed with Peugeot for next season’s Super TC 2000, while Guillermo Ortelli will also race for Peugeot in the Turismo Nacional series.

“We’re very pleased to continue working another year with Renault and representing the brand at the highest level of competition racing in Argentina, we’ve had three years of very good results in the category and give our best so that in 2015 we remain protagonists,” said Marcelo Ambrogio, Renault Lo Jack team principal.
