Tom Chilton to take part in Nürburgring 24 hours
Tom Chilton is going to take part in the Nürburgring 24 hour race with Rotek Racing this weekend alongside his FIA World Touring Car Championship duties with ROAL Motorsport.
“I had an amazing outing with Rotek last time we hit the Nordschliefe picking up P1 in our class so I feel pretty good about tackling the circuit again,” said Chilton.
The Brit is going to have a hectic schedule, heading straight into the Audi TT RS of Rotek Racing after completing the WTCC races.
“It’s going to be a hectic weekend but I can’t wait. It was great working with Robb and the boys last month during the qualifying race and I’m grateful for the chance to compete for them again,” said Chilton.
Chilton is going to share car with fellow touring car driver Robb Holland.
Chilton, as well as ROAL Motorsport team-mate Tom Coronel, will along with Lada pairing Rob Huff and Jaap van Lagen, be one of four WTCC regulars doing double duty this weekend in the Nürburgring 24 hour race as well as the WTCC.
