Chevrolet and Honda gain weight for Moscow

Chevrolet and Honda have gained compensation weight ahead of the FIA World Touring Car Championship weekend in Moscow.

The Chevrolet Cruze will get 40 kilos added ahead of Moscow compared to the previous race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany.

The Honda Civic will also receive more weight, although 20 kilos less than the Chevrolet, making the increase to a total of 20 kilos added compared to the previous race.

The weight for the Citroën C-Elysee and Lada Vesta remains unchanged, meaning the maximum of 60 kilos for the French marque and no kilos added for the Russian manufacturer.

The weights are calculated on the average lap times from the previous three events, that has seen the Chevrolets being 0.5 seconds per lap slower than the Citroëns on average, the Hondas 0.7 seconds and the Ladas 1.7 seconds.
