Citroën Racing deputy director Xavier Mestelan Pinon joins DS

The deputy director of Citroën Racing’s World Touring Car and Rally Championship programmes Xavier Mestelan Pinon will leave the brand next season to take up a new role as head of DS Performance.

Mestelan Pinon masterminded Citroën’s all-conquering WTCC challenger the C-Elysée WTCC, which has won 38 of the last 47 races in the championship.

He will take up his new role on January 1st 2016.
