Mehdi Bennani to contest MAC3 for Citroën

Mehdi Bennani has been confirmed as the third driver for Citroën’s MAC3 at Slovakiaring.

The Moroccan had already been part of the line-up at Paul Ricard, which was won by Citroën by a tiny 0.030s margin over Lada.

The other two manufacturers, Honda and Lada, will field their three works drivers, meaning the Japanese cars will be driven by Rob Huff, Norbert Michelisz and Tiago Monteiro, while Gabriele Tarquini, Hugo Valente and Nicky Catsburg are going to drive for the Russian manufacturer.

MAC3 is scheduled for 15.00 local time, right after qualifying.
