Volvo win MAC3 time trial at Monza and assume manufacturers’ lead

Polestar Cyan Racing Volvo won the MAC3 time trial at the Autodromo Monza, beating the Honda Racing Team JAS squad by two seconds, and take a six-point lead in the manufacturers’ standings.

Hot off the back of their first pole position in the World Touring Car Championship, the Swedish manufacturer’s three cars put together a two-lap time of 3:53.448 to take their second MAC3 win in as many races.

Honda struggled to keep up on their run, and finished two seconds behind.
