Esteban Guerrieri: “It’s the best car I’ve driven in my career”

Esteban Guerrieri expressed satisfaction with the Citroën C4 Lounge that took him to his first victory for the French manufacturer in the Super TC 2000, after winning feature race in Termas de Río Hondo today.

“We did a brilliant work in the team’s base in Córdoba to improve the car’s pace. We could confirm this both yesterday and today, so it closes up a fantastic weekend,” said Guerrieri to TouringCarTimes.

“I was not feeling pressure to win with Citroën Total Racing, life is life. I was chosen for this project, but it was really important for me to work for a team like this.”

The Argentinian ranks the Citroën he drove to victory today as one of the best race cars he has ever driven.

“This is the best car I’ve ever driven in Super TC 2000 and in my career. Only the car I drove in Formula Renault 3.5 when I raced in World Series by Renault in 2010 could beat it. The Indy Lights were heavy and understeering for example,” said Guerrieri.
