Bernardo Llaver: ”I could have been more aggressive”

Bernardo Llaver of YPF Chevrolet stated that he could have been more aggressive in attacking second-placed Leonel Pernía of Renault Sport in the final Super TC 2000 race of the weekend at Santa Fe.

“We were battling in the top three all the time this weekend, perhaps we could have gone for more than a third place,” said Llaver to TouringCarTimes.

“In the last restart, I could have challenged Pernía, but I could have been a bit more aggressive. I could have risked a bit more, but since I couldn’t score any points yesterday, I was forced to take extra care of whatever I could get from today,” added Llaver.

A hot topic for the Santa Fe race this weekend was the new layout of the street circuit.

“The new layout was fine, but I think the new hairpin hasn’t been such an appropriate place for overtaking,” concluded Llaver.
