John Filippi receives a 30-second penalty for Race 2 clash with Lessennes

Campos Racing’s John Filippi received a post-race penalty after the second race in Morocco for an incident with the Boutsen Ginion Racing Honda of Benjamin Lessennes, after the Frenchman turned the Belgian around shortly after he’d been overtaken on lap 12.

Filippi was investigated after the race and was given a 30-second penalty in lieu of a drive-through penalty, which drops him from 12th to 17th in the final order. The 22-year-old was also reprimanded for a separate incident in the same race.
