Esteban Guerrieri joins RAM Racing for Buenos Aires round

WTCR racer Esteban Guerrieri will join privateer Honda team RAM Racing for the 200km Buenos Aires race of the Super TC 2000 championship this weekend.

The Argentinian will drive together with Santiago Mallo in the Honda Civic, marking the return of the Japanese manufacturer, albeit in a privateer effort, to the championship.

The team is headed by Victor Rosso who managed the factory Honda team of the Super TC 2000 that withdrew after the 2008 season.

RAM Racing is only fielding one car for the Buenos Aires race but is targeting a full season in 2019.

Guerrieri is currently racing for Münnich Motorsport in the WTCR, placed sixth ahead of the final race. Mallo will make his debut in the Super TC 2000, currently racing in the junior TC 2000 series.
