Facundo Conta completes Renault Sport line-up for 2019

Renault Sport has confirmed that Facundo Conta will join reigning champion Facundo Ardusso, Leonel Pernía and Matías Milla for 2019 Super TC 2000 championship season.

Conta had to sit out the final part of the 2018 season following a heavy shunt at Potrero de los Funes in May.

The 26-year-old, born in Metán, Salta, in the north of Argentina, made his Super TC 2000 debut in 2016 for YPF Chevrolet, remaining with the team until last season.

“I’m very happy to be back in the series and to join the reigning champions,” said Conta.

“It’s a great opportunity to return and chase the strong results that I hope for, I feel we’re capable of doing so. I hope to meet the expectations of the team as well. I’m also very excited about the new engines.”
