Engine change for Rob Huff puts him to the back of the grid

Rob Huff will start Race 1 at Zandvoort from the back of the grid following an engine change for his Sébastien Loeb Racing Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR.

Huff qualified in 15th, the slowest of the four Volkswagen drivers, with Benjamin Leuchter the best-placed of his team-mates in sixth, promoted to fifth on the grid following Yann Ehrlacher’s grid penalty.

“We’ve been struggling for power. I’ve been half a second off my team-mates in the first sector alone, so the team are changing the engine. Hopefully that’ll mean we’ll be on the pace tomorrow, but of course means we’re at the back of the grid today,” said Huff to TouringCarTImes.
