Honda and Volkswagen on maximum weight in China

The four Volkswagen Golf GTI TCRs of Sébastien Loeb Racing will gain the most weight (+30kg) for the World Touring Car Cup races at Ningbo this weekend and will join the Honda Civic Type R FK8 TCRs (+10kg) of Münnich Motorsport and KCMG to carry the maximum compensation weight of 60kg.

The Hondas and Volkswagens have the best average lap times from the past races, with the Hyundais i30 N TCRs one tenth behind to carry 50kg of compensation weight in China, 10kg less than in the previous round.

The home race of Lynk & Co will see the Cyan Racing-run 03 TCRs carry 40kg, an addition of 20kg compared to the races in Portugal.

The Audi RS 3 LMSs will gain 10kg to a total of 30kg compensation weight, as will the Cupra TCRs to a total of 20kg.

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloces will run lightest with 0kg of compensation weight, a reduction of 10kg compared to the Portugal round.
