Lexus and Nissan present liveries for Hockenheim season finale

Lexus and Nissan have presented their liveries for the 2019 DTM season finale where they will take part as guest entries, following Honda’s livery reveal yesterday.

The Lexus entry will be run by team Tom’s Toyota, with some of its sponsors from the Super GT programme, including Red Bull, missing from the blue and white livery due to the race taking place outside of Japan. Ryo Hirakawa and Nick Cassidy will share the driving duties during the race weekend in Germany.

The Nissan GT-R of team NISMO will run its traditional red and black livery, with Tsugio Matsuda and Ronnie Quintarell as drivers.

All three Japanese cars will run a unique BoP that has been developed by DTM’s technical partner Dekra as the GT500 specification cars of the Japanese Super GT have neither Push-to-Pass nor DRS, functions that the current DTM cars have.

The DTM season finale takes place at Hockenheim on October 4-6th.
