Engine change sends Néstor Girolami to the back of the grid
Honda driver Néstor Girolami will start from the back of the grid in the first World Touring Car Cup race at Suzuka following an engine change.
The Argentinian qualified third, but was one of five drivers that received a three-place grid drop penalty for driving too slow during the second free practice session.
Münnich Motorsport were forced to change the engine of Girolami’s Honda Civic Type-R FK8 TCR following technical issues that occurred during the Q2 session of qualifying.
